Let’s talk about risk.
An athlete mainly risks:
- personal performance
- personal income
- personal reputation
A leader risks:
- people’s jobs
- company survival
- long-term value creation
- trust from employees, customers, and investors
Yet athletes are surrounded by coaches —
and leaders are expected to “handle it”.
The irony?
The higher you go, the lonelier decisions become.
And the fewer people dare to challenge your thinking. That’s not strength.
That’s exposure.
