Boards obsess over numbers. Few ask how decisions are made.

Quarterly results are measured obsessively.

But rarely do we ask:

  • How were the decisions behind these numbers made?
  • Who challenged the assumptions?
  • What blind spots were present?

Decision quality is treated as intuition —
not as a capability.

In elite sports, performance processes are trained relentlessly.
In leadership, they’re often left to habit. That’s a strange place to cut corners.
