Background

I am Finnish, born and raised in Finland – and that is where I live. But there are two places which have shaped me more than the others, and both still feel like home.

My father worked wherever the work was, and we mowed with it. When I was a child we lived in Kolari, in Finnish Lapland. Just at the Swedish border. You could almost throw a stone to Swedish ground. I was young when we left, but the place stayed with me. the dialect, the unhurried pace, the attitude.

The other place in Gothenburg. For years I lived there as a young adult. Gothenburg gets under your skin – the language, the rhythm, the humor, that slightly reserved warmth that opens up completely once you’re in. And so did the dialect. A few days there and you can hear “the göteborska” come back!

How I work

Results do not happen by accident. They are built.

In my work, I combine structure with commitment. I value clarity, analytical thinking, and systematic progress — but never at the expense of people.

Often, calmness is more effective than urgency. My goal is to help organizations reach their targets without losing direction.

Leadership Beyond Work

Leadership is not only work for me.

When something needs doing, I don’t just stand and watch. I organize so that it gets done — not always visibly, not always asked. And if it’s needed, I do it myself

Motorcycling

I received my first motorcycle at the age of eleven. What began as transportation gradually became a way of thinking and leading — and, eventually, guiding others on the road. More about my motorcycling life and the tours I lead is on the Me & Motorcycle Tours page.

Marriage Work

Together with my wife, I have volunteered in organized marriage support work. The purpose is not therapy, but strengthening relationships through structured dialogue and responsibility.
