All serious athletes have coaches. Why don’t most leaders?

Every elite athlete has a coach.
Not because they’re weak — but because performance demands it.

Athletes want to:

• win
• improve
• earn their living

So they surround themselves with people who challenge them.

Now look at leaders.

They are expected to:

• build successful companies
• employ people and pay salaries
• create returns for investors
• contribute to society through jobs and taxes

Modern welfare depends on enterprises succeeding.

And still, many leaders operate alone.
No coach. No structured feedback. No one challenging blind spots.

In sports, that would be irresponsible.
In leadership, it’s still normal.

That feels backwards.
