Why don\u2019t most leaders?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/feed\/update\/urn:li:activity:7429400467375280128\/\">Every elite athlete has a coach.<br>Not because they\u2019re weak \u2014 but because performance demands it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Athletes want to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">win<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">improve<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">earn their living<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">So they surround themselves with people who challenge them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Now look at leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">They are expected to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">build successful companies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">employ people and pay salaries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">create returns for investors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">contribute to society through jobs and taxes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Modern welfare depends on enterprises succeeding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">And still, many leaders operate alone.<br>No coach. No structured feedback.
